2. What Data We Collect

• Timezone — detected locally in your browser to show your local time. Never sent to our servers.
• Search queries — sent to Photon/OpenStreetMap to find coordinates. We do not log these.
• Cookie consent — your preference is stored in browser localStorage only.
• Advertising — Google AdSense may set cookies to serve relevant ads. See Google's privacy policy for details.

3. Google AdSense & Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies based on your browsing history. You can opt out at Google Ad Settings. EEA/UK/Swiss users are shown a consent banner before personalised ads are activated.

• Photon (Komoot) — city search via OpenStreetMap
• Open-Meteo — timezone lookup by coordinates
• Google AdSense — advertising
• Google Fonts — Syne and JetBrains Mono typefaces

5. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and where applicable the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. As we collect no personally identifiable information, there is typically nothing to action beyond clearing your own browser's localStorage.

6. Children's Privacy

WorldTimeNow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
